Highlights of pay revision discussion on 21-2-2011

H R A , CCA , Hill tract allowance to be revised in Govt. Rates.

Medical allowance Rs. 55/- Local Delivery Rs. 50/- Shift Duty Rs. 95/-,100/- 105/-

Extra duty Rs. 300/- Night duty Rs. 15/- Warm cloth Rs. 500/- Store allowance

Rs 75/-,100/- System supervisors to be allowed conveyance allowance Tunel allowance

Rs 200/- Operation/Project allowance 300/-, 350/- 425/- 500/-


Investigatyion and Hydel allowance 5% of Basic pay subject to minimum 500/- and maximum 1200/-


Spread Over Rs 300 , 320 , 340/-

Transformer outdoor maintanance unit employees also to be covered under spreadover allowance.

Uniform allowance to be raised by 35% to 950/- ,1350/-,2000/-,2150/-

Office attendeds are excempted from wearing Uniforms.

Security allowance to be renamed as risk allowance and enhanced to Rs. 90/-

Kayal allowance to be scraped and conveyance allowance to be granted instead.

Overseer qualified to SE promotion to be enhanced to 20%.

TMR employees to be given foot wear allowance of Rs. 250/-.

Funaral advance to renamed as funaral expense and enhanced to Rs 5000/-non recoverable

Oil and dust allowance to be retained at current rates

Isolation allowance to be 10% of basic pay subject to amaximum of Rs 1500

Spectacle allowance to be enhanced to Rs 1000 and to be granted twice during service period

Conveyance allowance to physically handicapped to be enhanced to Rs 600

Other allowanced to be retained in same rates under same terms and conditions
Those employees working in IT departments to be given new allowance the amount to be discussed later
